Additionally, and under the terms referred to in the previous paragraph, BRUMA undertakes to communicate the personal data breach to the respective data subject in accordance with applicable legislation.
Notwithstanding the security measures adopted by BRUMA, users should also adopt additional security measures, namely ensuring the existence of an active firewall and updated antivirus and anti-spyware software.
7. Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties
Within the scope of its activity, BRUMA may use third parties to provide certain services (located inside or outside the European Union), which may, in some situations, involve access to users’ personal data by such entities.
In such cases, BRUMA undertakes to adopt the necessary and appropriate measures to ensure that entities with access to personal data are reputable and provide high guarantees in this regard, which shall be duly established and safeguarded in a written agreement between BRUMA and the third-party entity(ies).
Accordingly, any subcontracted entity engaged by BRUMA shall process users’ personal data on BRUMA’s behalf and account, undertaking to adopt the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, and any other unlawful form of processing.
In all cases, BRUMA remains responsible for the processing of personal data.
